Halloween in Japan has changed over the past few years. It used to be a day when a few number of people walked around the city in their costumes. It has changed from a few people to a large crowd of people hanging out, drinking, taking pictures, and meeting people until the first train. It is amazing to see how much effort people put into making their costumes. The convenient stores, bars, clubs, some restaurants, and cafes are open until morning. If you are ever in Japan, you should consider visiting Osaka or another big city during Halloween.
