Sashimi and sushi are sold in many countries around the world, but have you ever tried sushi or sashimi in Japan? If you haven’t, you might be surprised. I have eaten sushi a lot of times in America and I thought it tasted great! But once I tried sushi and sashimi in Japan, I noticed that there is a difference in the taste. In Japan, chefs use a different kind of rice and the fish is more fresh. My friends who have traveled to other countries and have eaten sushi told me that the taste isn’t great. They told me that the taste of sushi and sashimi in Japan is different. This is one of the reasons why the majority of Japanese travelers miss Japanese food when traveling to another country. If you ever decide to visit Japan, I recommend trying a local sushi shop.
